Are you running a dev build that isn't installed system-wide? There's an
unfortunately unavoidable issue with the Power Management KCM now requiring a
matching 6.1 version of the "org.kde.powerdevil.chargethresholdhelper" KAuth
helper, and whoever hasn't replaced their system's pre-existing chargethreshold
helper will experience a hanging KCM.

that would make switching easier hasn't been merged so far).
