It's the same for Dolphin. I found a lot of konsole_ and dolphin_ files in ~/.config/session, secured some and removed them. No new where generated. Interestingly the .config/session/kwin_saved\ at\ previous\ logout_ does contain entries for thunderbird and firefox but none for my konsole or dolphin sessions.
