E.g. starting kwrite: Qt: Session management error: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported starting xclock: Warning: Tried to connect to session manager, None of the authentication protocols specified are supported Since I have seen that something was changed w.r.t. auth in ksmserver, I cross-checked by reinstalling an older version of ksmserver: 5.27.4.1 and see - no more auth errors!
