It's noted in this PR that isInteractiveResize() was addressed some time ago: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/3794. This is true for old quick-tiled windows, but I notice the issue still occurs when clicking the header of a Chromium window in a custom tile: it will pop back to it's windowed state.
