As you say, this crash seems to be the same as that in okular
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483904). I've applied a similar fix.
Unfortunately, when I tried enabling spell checking, KAlarm without the fix
didn't crash, so I can't test whether the fix definitely works. It would be
good if you could test it when you have the new version of KAlarm, and report
back.
