Bug ID: 488822 Summary: [wayland] Broken UI for Digital Clock Text Display "Choose Style" Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Digital Clock Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: eamonn...@protonmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 170703 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=170703&action=edit Screenshot of the Digitla Clock "Choose Style" dialog SUMMARY When configuring the Plasma Digital Clock widget, the UI that appears when selecting the "Choose Style" for a manual Text Display (this dialog should allow you to set and configure a font) is entirely visually broken. The UI still functions, but it is very difficult to navigate, and regardless does not look correct. This happens on Plasma 6.1.0 but also happens on Plasma 6.0.5. I am not sure if it happens on versions older than 6.0.5. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add the Digital Clock widget somewhere 2. Right click and choose "Configure Digital Clock" 3. Under "Text Display", click on the "Manual" radio button and then click on the "Choose Style..." button. OBSERVED RESULT The interface for "Choose Style" is visually broken, but it does function. EXPECTED RESULT The interface for "Choose Style" should use similar UI theming to other Plasma versions (it should probably be its own dialog?) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.9.4 Linux Zen KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6.7.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Unsure if this affects the Wayland session, but I confirmed this bug on two different machines running Plasma 6.0.5 and then after updating them to Plasma 6.1.0 (and rebooting). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
