            Bug ID: 488902
Summary: Searching for "Shake Cursor" in System Settings does
                    not bring up Accessibility option
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 6.1.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_accessibility
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: eamonn...@protonmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I originally filed Bug 488841 because I thought the Shake Cursor effect was
only togglable from Desktop Effects. I was then directed that the option is
under Accessibility, and that I can search for "shake" in System Settings to
bring up the Accessibility setting.

However, searching for "Shake" or "Shake Cursor" or incomplete variations
thereof does not bring up the Accessibility option. Searching for "Shake" or
anything after does not bring up accessibility. It simply shows "No items
matching your search."

This happens on a laptop that was installed with Plasma 6.0.5 and upgraded to
Plasma 6.1.0, so it is a very fresh (matter of days) old installation. And the
issue also happens on my long-term Plasma installation on my PC, also running
Plasma 6.1.0. In other words, this problem happens across two different
installations of varying ages.

When typing the letters one at a time, ("s, sh, sha, shak, shake" etc) the
Accessibility option does not appear at all. So while searching and the entries
in the sidebar get filtered, Accessibility is never shown.

It is worth noting that searching for "Shake" in KRunner and the Application
Launcher *will* bring up the Accessibility option, but *not* when searching in
System Settings. However it is equally worth nothing that users can disable
System Settings showing up in KRunner (I have this off on my Desktop, but I am
still tweaking my laptop settings and this was not disabled yet) and if the
user has disabled this, the user would have no way currently to search for
Shake Cursor.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings
2. Search for "Shake"
3. The "Accessibility" menu which contains the "Shake Cursor" effect does not
show up, it displays "No items matching your search"
4. Searching for "Shake" in KRunner or the Application Launcher

OBSERVED RESULT
Searching for "Shake" in System Settings does not show the "Accessibility"
option on the sidebar, which contains this setting.

EXPECTED RESULT
Searching for "Shake" in System Settings should show the "Accessibility" option
on the sidebar.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.9.5 Linux Zen
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- In case locale is potentially an issue, I am using the en_GB.UTF-8 locale.
But I am not sure how this is implemented, so perhaps this is not relevant.
- I'm also aware that "Shake Cursor" will not show up in the System Settings
side pane when searching for it, that is totally fine, I am reporting that the
category which *contains* "Shake Cursor" - that is, the "Accessibility" option
- does not show up.
