I did the same on a clean Oracle Linux 9.4 where I replaced the GNOME environment with KDE workspace. Consistent daemon crash already after boot on this system. Otherwise no problems on this system. (lacking icon on the taskbar for the KDE start menu ) The PC is the same, I use fresh harddisks for every system I try.
