I work and play in virtual machines and VNC sessions very often, isolated keyboard input is critical. I'm also finding bit by bit that components of the Plasma desktop like Klipper do not honor the "Ignore Global Shortcuts" window rule that I had been using as a crutch. Of course that is not the solution anyway.
