The colors being wrong is a different NVidia driver bug (see bug 482780).

You can edit/delete/rename the file from the tty to disable it.

Yes, I want the debug logging for what the driver does when you enable HDR
while you're already logged in. Evidently that does *something* different from
when you log in with HDR already enabled, otherwise it would also hang.
