Hi Nate, thanks for the follow up. The occurrence is rare enough, so it's hard for it to appear within the same boot session. Also I haven't experienced it since I stopped using the external dock and started using the HDMI out of my laptop (see also #489367 for problems I had with the dock and external displays).
