Bug ID: 491009 Summary: No event reminders by default Classification: Applications Product: korganizer Version: 6.1.2 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: hi-an...@yandex.ru Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Trying out KOrganizer for the first time, after having created a bunch of events on my Google Calendar I found out they all are non-functional, because once event happens I get no reminder. What is the point of calendar event a user doesn't know about? I found a reminder can be created by applying a template, but it is a problem, because I can't rely on myself never missing to manually apply the template. Especially given that Android Google Calendar behaves as expected and creates event reminders. (the annoyance of additional steps I don't even mention about). -------- Project README has the following snippet: > KOrganizer will remind you about pending tasks and help you keep your > schedule. Well, apparently that's not entirely true. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open KOrganizer 2. Press Alt + n to create a new event 3. Set the event date+time for 1 minute from current time and press OK 4. Wait for the next minute OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens EXPECTED RESULT There will be a notification SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Archlinux KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
