            Bug ID: 491965
Summary: kclockd does not take the change of the default audio
                    device into account
    Classification: Applications
           Product: KClock
           Version: 24.05.2
          Platform: Manjaro
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: General
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

- When booting, the kclock-daemon queries the default audio device and
remembers it.
- If, as in my case, I switch from the headset to the good headphones to listen
to music, the kclock-daemon does not take this into account and stays at the
remembered default from boot time.
- I have to terminate the kclockd process on the command line and restart it,
only then is the new default applied.
- Switching the alarms off and on again in the kclock app does not work, as it
does not terminate the daemon.
