--- Comment #19 from Rick <r...@hallocks.us> --- I used a different Ubuntu user, ran the digikam-5.4.0-01-x86-64.appimage, went through the install questions, created a new album, copied the two pics into the folder. and only one pic shows up in the thumbnail view.
