            Bug ID: 492838
Summary: Pressing CTRL+ALT+F12 crashes the system
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
           Version: 6.1.4
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: compositing
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: geloczig...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Pressing CTRL+ALT+F12 freezes the system, the mouse wouldn't move anymore.
After some time the system reboots itself.
I just wanted to turn off the compositor to see whether it reduces mouse lag or
not in games running with Lutris. Same games doesn't show any lag in Windows,
so I just wanted to troubleshoot what causes the mouse lag and turning off the
compositor would be the very first thing to try, but I immediately crashed the
system.
Please let me know if you need more info along with the commands I should
execute to extract the logs/configs you need.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start the system and login
2. You're on the desktop
3. just press CTRL+ALT+F12

OBSERVED RESULT
The screen freezes, system is unusable and has to be rebooted. The mouse
wouldn't move. All is frozen.

EXPECTED RESULT
Compositor turns off/on (toggle).
