Bug ID: 493910 Summary: Panel does not appear on mouse hover when Switch desktop on edge is enabled Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.1.5 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: seriousbus.no...@simplelogin.com CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY The Plasma panel that I put at the bottom (a la GNOME's and MacOS) is set to auto-hide / dodge windows in panel configuration. However, when I go over it with the mouse cursor to bring it back, it doesn't re-appear. There's only a blue glow where it's supposed to be. The [Switch desktop on edge] is set to 'Always enabled'. If disabled, the panel re-appears on pointed hover. This is regardless if I have virtual desktops enabled (I don't). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to System settings -> Mouse & Touchpad -> Screen edges -> Switch desktop on edge -> set to 'Always enabled' 2. Right-click on Panel -> Panel configuration -> Visibility -> 'Auto-hide' or 'Dodge windows' 3. Make a window full screen, panel hides, then try to bring it back by hovering over it (doesn't work). OBSERVED RESULT Panel doesn't re-appear on mouse hover. EXPECTED RESULT Should re-appear on mouse hover regardless of [Switch desktops on edge] option.
