The problem of constant connection/disconnections was almost certainly already there before; it's only now made visible (or rather audible) by Plasma 6.2 making a sound when it happens. Ideally we'd fix the underlying issue of course, but that hasn't happened in the past two decades, so I wouldn't wait for that.
