I never asked for forcing my preference on everyone. I'm just asking for making
it configurable; it's fine if the current behavior remains the default. In case
you're opposed to make it configurable because you don't want to clutter the
settings with even more options, tie it to maximizing windows dragged to the
top edge, turning it into a "maximize by dragging to the top edge, unmaximize
by dragging maximized windows" option: the people who like one are probably
more-or-less the same people who like the other.

I don't use tiles, and I don't try to maximize, unmaximize or otherwise resize
windows by dragging them.
