On another machine, with the same digikam packages, I am not able to reproduce the issue with the same steps. On the other hand, I removed the collection, deleted old .db files, re-initialized everything, and still see the crash on the primary machine. The only thing I've not done is to delete the current digikam settings (~/.kde/), something I don't want to do.
