This makes the "slideshow" wallpaper option nearly useless. I have recorded a video showcasing the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sV9EWZ1B-iw STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start a game or a video that changes often 2. Change your wallpaper OBSERVED RESULT After finishing wallpaper's fade animation, all windows freeze for a split second EXPECTED RESULT Windows don't react at all to the wallpaper change. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Void KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.11.10_1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 8 × AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics Memory: 13.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060/PCIe/SSE2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - This only happens with KWin compositing enabled. - This was an issue that is happening again after complete system reinstall. - This is especially noticeable when playing games, and before pinpointing the bug I resorted to just disabling KWin. - If I recall correctly this was an issue also in Plasma 5. - I am not sure if I have chosen the right component in the report, I'm very sorry for any trouble -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
