KF(5) has barely reached the point where it's usable on mobile devices. Before it was too painful (I tried), and I know of several examples where people went Qt-only to be able to produce a mobile app. Same applies to cross-platform desktop apps. I mean, there was a huge amount of work done within KDE to make this possible. There's still a huge amount of work to make it easy.
