At Akademy today we agreed to adopt the updated licensing policy https://community.kde.org/Policies/Licensing_Policy
This means docs, wikis etc should now be CC-BY-SA 4.0 which is internationally recognised, well understood and compatible with other popular sources such as Wikipedia and importantly our own GPL 3 source code. Server software is now recommended to be AGPL Old documentation will continue to be GNU FDL which is incompatible with CC-BY-SA 4.0, but I'll update the relicensing script to collect names of people who are happy for this to be relicenced.
