In addition to our lovely programming, we're pleased to announce that volunteer signups are now live on the *_Akademy wiki!_* <https://community.kde.org/Akademy/2025#Be_a_volunteer> Volunteering is a great way to make new friends and Akademy wouldn't be possible without us all pitching in to make it happen. Find a task or two that sounds fun and sign yourself up! All you need to do is add yourself to a timeslot on the wiki page! For bonus points, *make sure you also have clicked the "yes I want to volunteer" option on your registration page* while you're checking out the schedule to help us keep the emails relevant for everyone. *Volunteers who work more than on hour also get a special shirt*, but you have to *sign up before August 5th* to qualify.
