Yes, I know QCollator is not public API. Unlike other Unicode and locale APIs in Qt, QCollator definitely requires ICU. For the other APIs, we may be able to do with the API provided by the system, even if in restricted mode (only supporting the C and the system locales). If we have QCollator in the QtCore public API, then we *must* ship ICU in all platforms.
