Well, I am back to "normal" now:

/opt/clean-slate/bin/dbus-daemon --system --nofork

i.e. only the system dbus is running. The user's is missing, as it always did 
so far. :-(

And when I try again to start the latter:

markos-imac:~ marko$ /opt/clean-slate/bin/dbus-daemon --nofork --session
Failed to start message bus: launch_msg("CheckIn") IPC failure: Operation not 
permitted

I end up with the same stuff. :-(

See, all this, although these processes use the same socket.
