which bug is that?

well it might be time to update the information there. The repo mentioned there
is for kde4.1.x, version long forgotten by the KDE developers themselves

what we're doing is : install Solaris 10, install Sun Studio 12 there, apply
all patches, zip the /opt/SUNspro directory, unzip it in your OSOL installation

ATM I'm probably the only guy using SSE to compile KDE, but apart from
FOSSxine-lib, I was able to compile the rest. Some need specific tweaking,
there's a separate thread for that.

the CC and CXX env variables are all that matters

I never did that

this is just a warning. Programmers only care about errors, not warnings :-)

if you wish to stick with KDE 4.1.x, just check the spec in
http://solaris.bionicmutton.org/hg/kde4-specs-42
for differences, it should work

SS12 team is not particularly good at responding to issues, I've filed a couple
of bugs there already
