pkgadd dies silently while trying to add FOSSlibiconv. It does so with a 
number of other packages as well. Also, pkgrm FOSSgettext fails silently. 
These are real problems in pkgadd and pkgrm, but they also consititute a 
deadly weakness for our packaging efforts: people cannot easily install the 
packages for KDE4.

It seems that pkgtool *can* do the installation and removal, but that means 
that we would have to have people install pkgtool (KBE) before they can 
install the rest of the packages. This does not seem ideal, and is probably 
hard to implement in any installer (hypothetical KDE4-based OSOL 
installation).
