Ben,

your patches produce totally same output as small fix by Mark Wright (add
-Xs flag to preprocessor only).

Ncurses built fine, except C++ bindings, but that's fine. The problem is:
ncurses isn't linked with libtinfow.so, grrrr

I've commit 'add -Xs to preprocessor' this is lead to ncurses is built
fine. Linking with libtinfow.so is another story.

I have some ideas based on your patches, so take me a time to try it.

Mark,

I wouldn't use libtool 2.2.4 globally for all stuff in Dude. Maybe this is
too conservative decision, but I wouldn't break some tools or apps from dude
now.

Thanks goes for both for your helpful work

Luc

When dealing with people, let us remember we are not dealing with creatures
of logic. We are dealing with creatures of emotions, creatures bristling
with prejudices and motivated by pride and vanity. Dale Carnegie
