I might not have built it on SPARC. Given the speed at which the U45 works, I 
wanted to compile as little as possible before hitting KDE SVN itself to see 
how that went.

I just re-compiled capseo on my box: no gcc flags at all. Can you check if 
libtool hasn't been clobbered in the meantime? Go to 
~/packages/BUILD/FOSScapseo/<whatever architecture>/CAPSEO/0.3* and take a 
look at the libtool. Our hacked up non-gcc libtool has an md5 
b1d28ec33976dac08cffce31b5f5befc . Sometimes, libtool is re-generated by 
autotools after configure -- that's an annoying timestamps problem.
