It's just XSun being problematic. That's also why SunRay shows the same 
painting issues. I heard at FOSDEM that SRSS on Linux might use Xorg as the 
server -- which could solve the graphics effects issues for SunRay. I think 
there was prodding going on towards to Xsun folk to fix it one way or the 
other. On Xorg based systems none of those rendering issues show up.

High-end graphics; it's the U45 we have on loan from Sun-NL for KDE4 testing.
