Yes, Sun's packages have SUNW, but previously SFW was given to the 
companion CD.

However, I don't see Solaris to continue the way it had been, nor do I 
expect KDE to go back into the ON portion. Rather I see a new repository 
being created that would host software such as KDE.

There is some animosity within Solaris towards c++, and it's long been 
discussed about the ABI problems with various versions, but to me it 
doesn't matter since when you build the system and desktop from sources, 
there should be no reason that ABI differences should surface.
