Hi Lukas et al, I've started doing some work with kde/kbe, and come across something that probably isn't quite the way it's meant to be:
sometime during kbe-install, I get > The following files are already installed on the system and are being > used by another package: > /opt/kdebld/share/vim/vim71/lang/README.txt > [ca 200 deleted] > /opt/kdebld/share/vim/vim71/lang/zh_TW/LC_MESSAGES/vim.mo > > Installation of <KBEvim> was suspended (administration). > No changes were made to the system. > Tue Jan 22 21:10:39 PST 2008: *** command output ends *** > Tue Jan 22 21:10:39 PST 2008: KBE setup FAILED it's fairly easy to manually do the installation, but it's not quite as trivial to find out if other packages are missing. this is the second attempt at installing KBE; the first time, I got a similar message with a different package and /opt/kdebld as the conflicting file. Maybe the fact that /opt/kdebld is the mountpoint of a zfs vol. is relevant here: $ zfs list NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT p 7.79G 38.7G 1K none ... p/kdebld 71.3M 38.7G 71.3M /opt/kdebld ... -- Michael Schuster Sun Microsystems, Inc. recursion, n: see 'recursion'
