My opinion is that since we are an OpenSolaris project, it should be acceptable to drop Solaris10 support for the time being and include patches.
Should the build instructions become sufficiently simple, S10 users could import the dependencies and build KDE themselves, but our energy shouldn't be wasted trying to get KDE working on older releases.
