pkg(5) expects pkg.depotd and pkg to be in-sync. The pkg.depotd on BM is my FreeBSD port of pkg from b111, so it's not *that* surprising to find that weirdness happens. I believe the solution is to add the publisher when staring pkg.depotd, like so: --set-property publisher.alias=kdeips-dev --set-property publisher.prefix=kdeips-dev That would force everyone to call the publisher kdeips-dev.
