Hi Paul (or another Qt guru) I wonder if you could kindly share your build environment with me. I'm attempting to build from source on an snv_133 x64 platform, and it's failing make (after a couple hours of number crunching) with:
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status gmake[1]: *** [../../../../lib/libQtWebKit.so.4.6.2] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.6.2/src/3rdparty/webkit/WebCore' gmake: *** [sub-webkit-make_default-ordered] Error 2 I'm building from qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.6.2, initially running ./configure -platform solaris-g++ GNU ld (GNU Binutils) 2.19 gcc version 3.4.3 (csl-sol210-3_4-20050802) If there is a known combo of compiler, options etc which works would be really appreciated if someone could summarise this. Yes, I realise I can get Qt from a repo, but I'm developing a narcotic dependency on packages without really knowing how this works under the hood - and for troubleshooting building another application (Scribus) I really need to know how to build this from source! :) Cheers, Dave -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
