I actually looked this up on the web; I thought I had it correct. "His poor study habits affected his grades"; "Music affected her deeply." "Affect," except for the specialists mentioned below, is a verb, meaning to cause change in something. "His headache affected his ability to concentrate." Verbs are words of action. So think "A" ? Affect, Action ? something is Acting on something else. So, "The following Qt options have no action on Konsole:" seem correct to me. Regards, Kurt
