Hi, With some help from Lauri, I've started rearranging the information for new contributors on the website (http://i18n.kde.org/doc). The aim is to have one document that presents the stuff that a new contributor needs to know in a sequential way. Most of the content would just be merged from the existing information on the website, since it's relevant and mostly up-to-date.
