It's not konsole, it's the command interpreter (bash) that cares about upper
and lower case.
4) After pressing Tab, konsole will try to guess the name of
the program you wish to launch.
Again, it's not konsole that does autocompletion, it's the command interpreter.
If you run e.g. tcsh in konsole, autocompletion won't work anymore.
I agree that from the user's point of view, it makes little difference which
program does what, but nethertheless it's not a reason for mixing up things.
