Maybe I should have expressed myself clearer. I am not saying that the docbook for kdiff3 does not compile. I am saying it is counterproductive that Lauri marks it up with <quote>...</quote> and somebody else marks it down to \"... \" and it is a disaster for translation producing a lot of unneccessary work.
