And programming is just about throwing some words on the page, so that shouldn't be that hard either, right? Writing is a professional skill one has to develop just as one has to develop programming skill. If people aren't capable of learning a programming language then I'm afraid they can't write software. I agree that we cannot expect every new contributer to learn docbook, and we don't. There are a variety of ways to submit documentation - including an edit function planned for docs.kde.org. Have a talk to Rainer and Olaf about the edit function planned - it may be an acceptable compromise for you guys. The edit function planned allows you to just click 'edit' on a webpage. Have a look at www-devel.kde.org for an example. JH.
