Hello While translating KDE-FAQ (docmessages/kdebase-runtime/faq*.po) I've found an entry which looked outdated. I've tried sending e-mail to a contact address specified in FAQ but got no response. Apparently that person is no longer maintaining the FAQ? What should I do now? Is message to this list enough or should I create a bug report?
Just in case, here is information about FAQ entry: ========================================= There is a question regarding TrueType fonts: "How do I use TrueType fonts in KDE?" Does it make sense to still have it in FAQ? Doesn't currently all major distributions ship TrueType support out of the box? Plus links to sites with fonts, font servers etc. are not working any more. Here is English version of FAQ answer to this question: You need to install &TrueType; font support into your &X-Window; configuration. Please take a look at <ulink url="http://x.themes.org/">x.themes.org</ulink> for the fonts, and <ulink url="http://www.dcs.ed.ac.uk/home/jec/programs/xfsft/">xfsft: &TrueType; Font Support For X11</ulink> or <ulink url="http://X-TT.dsl.gr.jp/">X-&TrueType; Server Project Home Page</ulink> for the font servers. Thank you -- Tomas Straupis
