Hi all,

I upgraded my KDE install to 3.4 the other day and ever since I have not been able to connect to
KDE remotely.

I have followed /usr/ports/UPDATING & checked through all the steps that the handbook lists in
setting up KDM and everything I see says it should work but obviously it doesn't!

One thing that has caught my eye is this bit taken from "sockstat" on the machine in question:

root     kdm        575   3  stream -> /tmp/.X11-unix/X0
root     Xorg       574   1  stream /tmp/.X11-unix/X0
root     Xorg       574   8  stream /tmp/.X11-unix/X0
root     Xorg       574   9  stream /tmp/.X11-unix/X0
root     kdm        572   7  stream /var/run/xdmctl/dmctl-:0/socket
root     kdm        572   8  udp6   *:177                 *:*
root     kdm        572   10 stream /var/run/xdmctl/dmctl/socket
root     perl       509   4  dgram  -> /var/run/log

Am I crazy, or is kdm not listening on IPv4? If so, any idea how to fix this?

Please advise!

-Will
