At present there's only the bktr driver which handles 
brooktree/conexant-bt848-and-sucessors-based devices. This driver supports 
capturing and also exists in NetBSD and OpenBSD.

Adopting Video4Linux2 is something that keeps coming up between developers, 
especially because it would allow better support for videoconferencing 
software, but it hasn't happened yet.
