That's not the problem here though. 

My guess is that 'Delboy' installed the X Windowing System which came with his 
FreeBSD installation CD, which I suspect to have been 5.3-Release, which 
would make X being X.org 6.7.0, which doesn't support the necessary 
extensions for kompmgr. Solution: Upgrade the installed xorg packages.
