It's been given once-over testing by tap on #kde-freebsd (many thanks!),
so if I have your approval, I'd like to commit this as soon as possible,
since there are a number of other autotools related updates that I'd
like to apply relatively quickly which will considerably clean up the
whole autotools environment.
