Well, then, my patch can be considered tested, I guess. I updated my
main machine to 6.0 this weekend, removed and rebuilt all ports from
scratch -- including kde3 and firefox with their numerous dependencies.
The esd vs. arts chicken-n-egg is the only problem I observed.
KDE, Gnome -- would you care to try the patch on your clusters? Kris may
need more convincing and ports@ is perfectly silent -- as predicted :-(
