Hello all,

We're building a new server to serve up packages and host the
repository for KDE/FreeBSD, among other things. This server will
be hosted at Internet Systems Consortium's headquarters near San
Francisco. ISC will be donating power, bandwidth, and space for
the server. It will act in cooperation with the servers at
FruitSalad that we have relied on since 2001.

However, we need assistance from our users to build this server.
So, if anyone would like to support the project and specifically
this server, please send a check or money order to this address:

Liquidneon
P.O. Box 1854
Farmington, NM 87499-1854
USA

In case you're wondering, Liquidneon is the host of
freebsd.kde.org and I am working with Brad Davis, owner of
Liquidneon, to set up this server.

We could also receive donations via Paypal but given incidents in
the not-too-distant past where they stole donations and the
fact they would typically cost more than a stamped envelope, I'd
prefer to receive donations via the postal service. However, if
you have no other way, you may send your donation via paypal to
me at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

All donations are planned to go towards this server only, however
if there is some excess we will use it to buy hardware for our
developers or project clusters. The donation target is $1200.
We're planning to get a 1U server with a reasonably fast
processor, 1GB RAM, and mirrored 250GB SATA HDDs. Naturally,
we'd like to bring this server up sooner rather than later.

Thanks for your time.
