This has been bugging me for a long long time, but I've never gotten around to asking about it. What's up with the horrid slowness of Qt Designer? Repaints are dreadfully slow, on the order of a few seconds. Also, when I use translucent menus the background showing through the designer menus is incorrect. It's the only Qt application on my system that behaves this way.
