Hi,
First post to this list, hope I'm in the right place now! I already
posted this issue to freebsd-questions but did not get any useful feedback.
On recent 6.0-STABLE, after doing a portupgrade of KDE and xorg
according to UPDATING, I cannot start X as non-root. I've cleared /tmp,
removed old files in home directory created by to KDE and xorg but
problem persists.
I have successfully upgraded an almost identical system to same level
without a problem, they differ in one instance namely that this one runs
Samba and thus has authentication via PAM/LDAP.
There are two lines below i find particulary interesting, the first one is:
kdecore (KLibLoader): WARNING: KLibrary: Undefined symbol "init_kdnssd"
and second
QFont::setPointSize: Point size <= 0 (-3)
I'm currently out of ideas and would really appriciate a hint, thanks.
Please let me know if I need to supply additional info.
