The following reply was made to PR ports/92441; it has been noted by GNATS.
From: Steve Davidson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: Subject: Re: ports/92441: kde-3.4.2 fail to compile on FreeBSD 5.4 Date: Tue, 31 Jan 2006 13:20:10 -0800 My supfile has ftp13.freeebsd.org and cvsup was run yesterday, the day before and today, and the port claims that the latest version of kde is 3.4.2, not 3.5.0. I don't understand why my cvsupdate fails to get what you have suggested is the latest version (3.5.0). Are the mirrors current? Here is the code I run, along with the ports-supfile: (/bin/date; /usr/local/bin/cvsup -g -L 2 /root/bin/ports-supfile; /bin/date; /usr/local/sbin/portsdb -Uu) | tee /var/log/cvs_ports 2>&1 /usr/sbin/pkg_version -v > /root/bin/PKG_VERSION Kde appears as 3.4.2 and this shows as current. The ports-supfile: [...] *default host=ftp13.us.FreeBSD.org *default base=/usr *default prefix=/usr *default release=cvs tag=. *default delete use-rel-suffix # If your network link is a T1 or faster, comment out the following line. *default compress ## Ports Collection. # # The easiest way to get the ports tree is to use the "ports-all" # mega-collection. It includes all of the individual "ports-*" # collections, ports-all [...] Also, Creating /etc/libmap.conf as: libc_r.so.5 libpthread.so.1 libc_r.so libpthread.so Did not fix the problem. Again, the problem is KDE fails to compile. (Shouldn't 3.4.2 compile just as well as 3.5.0 anyway)? _______________________________________________ kde-freebsd mailing list [email protected] http://freebsd.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd
